Beyonce pays tribute to Whitney Houston in comeback gig

Beyonce is back!!! The singer, who had baby Blue Ivy Carter in January earlier this year performed at her much-awaited stage comeback at the multi-million pound Revel Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She paid tribute to the late Whitney Houston by singing a stripped-back version of Whitney Houston’s 1992 hit ‘I Will Always Love You, which then merged into fan-favourite ‘Halo.’

The show was the first of three sell-outs this weekend and  Bey continued to change from one glittery outfit to another, blasting out all the tracks that her fans know and love her for. The superstar opened the show with the words “I gotta say, it feels so good to be back home on stage.”

Her hubby Jay-Z was there to support her all the way as he watched the entire performance from the side of the stage. Clearly delighted with his wife’s triumphant return to live performance, the rapper took to Twitter to hail the singer’s talent. He tweeted:
