Former Egyptian leader, Hosni Mubarak sentenced to life in prison

Hosni Mubarak has been sentenced to life in prison for the death of protesters last year. Mubarak was charged with corruption, misappropriation of funds and issuing orders to kill demonstrators calling for his ouster. About 840 people died and more than 6,000 others were wounded in the Egyptian uprising, according to Amnesty International.
