Bend Down Select: ‘Our bags have a Nike logo but the zippers are Adidas’ Egyptian Olympic Swimmers Flaunt Fake Nike

This is the real bend down select for Egypt; in their attempt to save cost but still form levels, they decided to buy Chinese ‘bend down select’  Nike products for their athletes. But this back fired when Yomna Khallaf, a 20 year-old Egyptian swimmer competing in the synchronised swimming, could not help but expose herself and the Egyptian Olympic Committee when she went on twitter and stated:



This tweet caused a row between sports gear manufacturers, Nike and the Egyptian Olympic Committee and eventually, a donation of authentic items from Nike to protect it’s brand name although the swimmer’s following tweet contradicts this as it does not specify who will be bearing the cost. This is her  tweet:
