Has Square Records dropped May D????

Earlier today, it was reported that P-Square’s record label (Square Records) have dropped their first artiste – Akinmayokun Awodumila (May D). May D, however, claims he’s not aware of this. A press statement was released by Square Record’s boss – Jude Okoye. Read the statement below;

I, JUDE ‘ENGEES’ OKOYE of Square Records Limited and Northside Entertainment Limited hereby announces to the general public that Mr. Akinmayokun Awodumila, otherwise known as MAY D is no longer an artiste under the aforementioned outfits due to irreconcilable differences. We at Northside and Square records wish him all the best in his career and life.

May D has since reacted to the statement saying ‘I don’t know what they are talking about‘. May D is a graduate of the University of Lagos and featured on two singles from P-Square’s fifth album – Invasion. He featured in P-Square’s remix of ‘Chop my money,‘ which also featured Akon.

Music group is not about getting musicians and dumping them after they sing with you it is wrong,we all should be one whole big family. Don’t allow your music label should be like mo’hits record.
