FG re-instates Dana Air’s operating licence

The Federal Government has lifted the suspension on Dana Air’s operating license. This move comes barely three months after the airline’s operating license was suspended following the Dana plane crash that killed 153 people on the 3rd of June, 2012. In a statement sent out yesterday, the Special Assistant on media to the Minister of Aviation said the federal government decided to lift the suspension after being satisfied with the air-worthiness of the airline after a rigorous technical, operational and financial audit of the airline company. This therefore means Dana Air can now resume commercial flight operations in Nigeria.
