MTV’s Video Music Awards 2012 Red Carpet

The annual MTV Video Music Awards took place yesterday at the Staples Centre, Los Angeles and as expected the celebs came out dressed to impress. There were a few highlights at the event. Get the gist, full list of winners and pictures below.

Rihanna & Chris Brown kiss

Rihanna sparked rumours that she had rekindled her relationship with Chris Brown after she called him the love of her life in a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey. And at last night’s MTV VMA awards, as an excited Rihanna exited the stage after collecting her Video Of The Year award, she was stopped by former boyfriend Chris as he congratulated her. The pair were seen kissing on the lips, before hugging tenderly, with Chris’ arm looking slightly proprietorial around Rihanna’s waist. God knows what Chris’s girlfriend Karreuche Tran will think of this

Kanye West didn’t attend because Kim Kardashian couldn’t make it

Kanye West pulled out of the MTV Video Music Awards at the 11th hour. The Gold Digger rapper cancelled his appearance after deciding he didn’t want to attend the ceremony in Los Angeles without his girlfriend Kim Kardashian by his side. Kim had a prior engagement at Fashion’s Night Out in New York, where she will be promoting her True Reflection perfume at Lord & Taylor.
