It was a crowning glory for Dayo Olomu when he received the prestigious BEFFTA Leadership award on 27th October at the 4th annual BEFFTA UK awards in the presence of an international audience. The multi-award winning author, inspirational speaker and mentor was awarded BEFFTA LEADERSHIP AWARD for his outstanding contribution to entertainment and arts.
BEFFTA (Black Entertainment, Film, Fashion and Art) Awards, Europe’s biggest award is a distinctly special awards ceremony honouring the best showbiz and entertainment personalities in the black community in the UK, USA, Africa and globally.
Having started his career in the entertainment industry at a very young age 30 years ago as a leading music promoter and artists manager, Dayo Olomu is now a leading international motivational speaker, a positive role model to many in the entertainment industry and a community champion. Dayo Olomu is the original founder and publisher of Music and Movies magazine which later added the Music and Movies award ceremony that honours outstanding achievement of personalities in music and movies.
Dayo Olomu said:

An abiding passion for adding value to lives, developing people and transforming businesses gets him out of bed far too early every morning. He holds an honours degree in Business Information Systems, a diploma in Coaching, a post graduate certificate in Further Education and a Masters degree in Human Resources. His varied outside interests include running marathon, skydiving, and mountain climbing, fire walking, board-breaking and bar-bending. His long term goal is space travel. He says,
“Nothing will compare to seeing the earth from space”.
