Yetunde Babaeko debuts “Itan” at the Porsche Center in Lagos

Leading contemporary Nigerian photographer and artist, Yetunde Ayeni-Babaeko is set to present a stunning exhibition of black and white photographs engaging African mythology. The exhibition titled ‘Itan,’ a Yoruba word, which means ‘the process of telling stories.’ Through photographs, Yetunde displays several age-old myths; expanding or editing, paraphrasing or translating to emphasize or de-emphasize basic elements of the story.
