Extended Hands Foundation ,a charity organisation owned by Nollywood actress, Stephanie Okereke- Linus,  in collaboration with Next Page Productions Team were in Ogoja, Cross Rivers State recently, where 22 women with Vesico Vaginal Fistula( VVF) were treated. VVF is a condition in which there is a perforation (hole) between the lining separating the vagina and Anus resulting in the leaking of stool through the Vagina. It occurs more often in young women during childbirth, as their vagina’s are not yet mature for the process.

The project was sponsored by SNEPCO/NNPC with the support of some dedicated doctors and nurses at the General Hospital, Ogoja, Cross River state. The medical team carried out repair surgeries on the 22 women and catered for them for 2 weeks, nursing them back to health.

Thank you for touching the lives of these women, Steph.
