Malaysian Authorities are still trying to understand how a plane full of people would disappear without a trace. Malaysian Airlines flight MH307 that vanished off the coast of Vietnam two hours after taking off at Kuala Lumpur airport with 239 people on board has still not been found. According to the authorities, the weather was great, the pilots were experienced, the plane was new, there was no distress call. The only logical explanation to this is the possibility of a terrorist attack.
Officials have discovered that 4 people on the flight traveled on passport stolen in Thailand and the tickets they used were bought through a Chinese airline. One passport was registered to an Italian and another to an Austrian. It has been reported that the Italian and the Austrian bought their tickets together.
The Italian whose stolen passport was used by a passenger on board flight MH370 has been tracked down by a newspaper in Phuket, Thailand. The name of the Italian was given as Luigi Maraldi and he said that he lost it while on holiday “during a deal that went wrong at a motorcycle rent shop”. Vietnamese air force have spotted ‘suspicious floating objects; on the east coast in the South China Sea.
Three vessels are being sent out to the site, the first is expected arrive by 7pm local time.
