Meet Nigerian Model Rotimi Akinosho the New Face of T.I’s Clothing Line

AKOO Clothing owned by T.I has announced Rotimi Akinosho (Nigerian) of  “BOSS” a STARZ original series, as their 2012 brand ambassador. Named by Rolling Out Magazine as “Hollywood’s Next Triple Threat”, the actor, singer/song writer and model is the perfect choice for this season’s campaign.

At 15 years old, Rotimi wowed the historically brutal crowd at the world renown Apollo Theater, singing his way to first place at amateur night. Since then, the New Jersey singer/songwriter/actor/model has achieved national recognition for his powerful vocals and distinctive confidence. Across the nation, Rotimi has captured the hearts of plenty, reaching a fan base of over 50,000 through constant touring and vibrant media campaigns.

The mission of the AKOO Movement is to encourage self mastery within oneself. Supporters of the brand and movement include Larry King, B.o.B, Curtis Granderson, Tristan Wilds, and Meek Mill. The breakout talent of “BOSS,” a STARZ original series, channels the mysterious allure and boyish charm of his on-screen alter ego to depict AKOO’s Spring/Summer theme of “effortless cool”. Rotimi, who is a singer, is also an actor on Golden Globe winning TV series Boss and a graduate from Northwestern University. Born in Maplewood, New Jersey to Nigerian parents, Rotimi says he got his work ethic & discipline from being raised by African parents.This what the Director of Marketing & Public Relations of AKOO Clothing, Jeff Belizaire had to sayabout Rotimi:
