New Music: Psalm Ekwo – Follow Follow

Samuel Ekwo is the Executive Director of 1 Word Entertainment. Psalm Ekwo as he is fondly called is a multi-talented personality – songwriter, recording artist, and film maker. From the performing arts to high-end video productions; he has carved a niche for himself. Psalm jump started his career in film making by attending the biggest film institute in Nigeria – PEFTI where he qualified as a Cinematographer in 2006. During 2008, he proceeded to the top class University of Naftic Ghana where he advanced in Production and Cinematography. He is presently producing DAVID’s COURT – a gospel music show that is touted to become the biggest of its kind in West Africa, to premiere on DSTV.
He has since worked both as a Director of Photography (DOP) and Production Manager in some of the biggest high budget production companies in Nigeria and, one of which is Ark Resources Entertainment, where he handled big brands commercials. Some of the brands are:Highlite with IK, Etisalat, Sky Bank, McVitie’s, Thermocool, Calabar Festival, Coca Cola, Loyal Milk, and so on. He has also produced and directed music videos for up and coming artists.
Psalm’s blend of up-beat, energetic, and tempered style is enthralling, engaging and totally captivating. As a gospel artist, he has traversed churches, concerts and platform across Nigeria, Ghana and Sub-Sahara West Africa, singing life, healing and deliverance to hundreds of thousands of souls. Sam created One Word Entertainment to dig deep into the wide pool of youth resources and creative market so as to help them fulfill their dreams. From the lens of his high dimension cameras, Psalm views life as a matrix of Hope and Possibilities.
Psalm’s maiden album GRATEFUL, is a collection of high octane smash tracks like ‘Follow Follow’ and ‘Goodness’ which dropped on the 10th of July. The title song which is ‘Grateful’ will drop a fortnight after.
