African Designs the New Haute: What do you think about Ankara Shoes and Ties

A couple of days ago we brought to you a collection of Ankara swimwears won by the Miss Black France Contestants, well we are back again as new Ankara clothing styles have revealed themselves.

African fashion seems to be the new haute as many American and European designers have come to recognize the uniqueness of the African style. Brands like Boxing Kittens owned by designer Maya Lake have gathered inspiration from the African fashion style and are selling out in this crazed season of African prints.

This new love for originality has seen the likes of Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Solange, Fergie and many more indulging in this African print insanity and thankfully, they have not found love in a hopeless place because brands like Burberry and Daiki (Woolrich woolen mills collection) have joined the circus of African inspired designs and have come up with some really good fashion accessories.

We have put together a picture collection of the celebrities spotted wearing the African inspires attires and some fashion accessories from Burberry and Daiki.
