Nigerian start-up, 1Plify.com has been selected among 11 other start-ups to join NUMA, a French accelerator with interests in the India’s tech eco-system. This follows a rigorous selection process which received over 200 applications across India.
NUMA Bengaluru is the first 6-month mentor driven accelerator and growth program for entrepreneurs in India.

Everything has been put in place to fast track the growth of all the start-ups we have on board. We are convinced that the next 6 months is going to be redefining for these start-ups,” says Naresh Narasimhan, CEO of NUMA Bengaluru.
During the acceleration program, NUMA will provide bootstrapping financing, office space, access to over 400 mentors and industry experts, network of 40,000 IT and end user community, and access to over 500 international investors among other benefits.

NUMA is the first accelerator in Paris and has accelerated over 100 start-ups since 2011. About 65 per cent of NUMA start-ups have gone on to raise funds after the program.
The acceleration program will take place in Bangalore, India’s Information Technology capital.
1Plify is a portal that connects students directly to institutions of their choice around the world, allowing them apply directly to any of 1Plify partnered institutions. Till date, 1Plify has partnered with institutions in the UK, France, Cyprus, India, Dubia, Vietnam and Philippines, with a working plan to expand to other countries as well as add more institutions to offer students more options.
