Ernest E. Oyakhilome popularly known as EY amongst his peers, is a Nigerian artist born and raised within the shores of Nigeria. The multi-talented EY, is a singer, rapper and song writer who has been nurturing his talent for quite some time.

Music has always been a part of his life because he became exposed to music of the renascent era at a tender age which further influenced a greater interest for him in writing and composition of songs. EY’s first studio experience was in 2012 when he met Ex-O, a renowned music producer, who sharpened his musical ideas and transformed his sound into mainstream music. It has been a professional synergy so far that has yielded optimal musical achievements.

“YOUNGOTE” is a derivative of the words “YOUNG” and the name of Africa’s most successful young business tycoon, “DANGOTE” (YOUN’G’OTE).
