Suru Group appoints Fathia Balogun as new ambassador

Suru Group Limited has appointed Yoruba actress, Faithia Balogun as the company’s ambassador on public relations for the next 12 months. We gathered that the deal is worth millions of naira and requires Fathia to represent Suru Group at various functions. The Delta born actress played her first role as a Secretary in a Movie titled Ta lo pa Chief and has produced and appeared in over many other movies such as Omolara.

Suru Group Ltd was incorporated in November 2008 as a private limited company and was focused on seven core areas of investment – hospitality, real estate development, energy generation, agriculture, mining, manufacturing and financial services. Following the world credit crisis, the group has pruned down its investment drive and now wants to focus on real estate and hospitality. In the short term, the group wants to develop five more Three Star Hotels under the Best Western Brand, 45 budget hotels under Suru Express Brand and build 900 units of low cost residential estate to support the Federal Government’s drive for affordable housing for all. It has acquired large expanse of land in Lagos state, Nigeria to build low cost housing.
