In just a few days, the biggest street party in Nigeria – The Lagos Street Party will kick off on Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos.
From all indications, this one is like nothing you’ve ever seen before. Not just because it’s been proven beyond doubts that there is no party like a Lagos party, but also because the State Government is expecting over 500,000 Lagosians and tourists over the 48hours period.
Packed full with lots of fun activities, TLSP will showcase the rich and diverse culture, beauty and hospitality that Lagos State has come to be known for.
As you plan to attend, here are six things you should look forward to at The Lagos Street Party.
Olamide: What is a Lagos Street Party without the “King of the Streets”? The award-winning rapper will be performing all his hit songs back-to-back at the event; and even more, his friend and frequent collaborator; Phyno is also billed to perform. And you know what happens when these two Kings come together – magic!
MI: Mr Incredible is living testimony that Lagos is a place where dreams come true. Arriving Lagos from Jos about a decade ago, MI has become African Hip Hop royalty, with 3 successful solo albums and countless hits. Lagos is always turnt up with ‘Africa Rapper Number One’ on stage.
Kaffy and her dancers: If you’ve ever seen Kaffy and her dancers on stage, you’d understand why the dance queen is a Guinness World Record holder and a leading dance professional in Africa. Get ready to be blown away by their energetic and scintillating dance steps.
Non-stop music from DJ Lambo and DJ Spinall: You know it’s about to be one heck of a party when, not one, but two of Nigeria’s finest and most popular DJs are billed to play.
