Police Take Hold of $1.3 Million Worth of Cocaine at JFK Airport

Police officers have seized 38 blocks of cocaine at JFK Airport, New York, esteeming $1.3 million.

ABC News reports that United States Customs and Border Protection, CBP, are searching for the proprietor of the bag that went unclaimed.

It is understood that the bag originated from a departure from Quito, Ecuador straight into JFK a week ago, exploiting the busy Thanksgiving holiday.

The seizure of the cocaine, which weighs around 100 pounds, is a tremendous win for the CBP who are constantly careful in endeavoring to shield the United States from the distribution of unsafe drugs.
